In 1927, when I was twelve, my father wanted me to see my Grandma Foran,
and so he sent me to Ottawa where Aunt Dora met me at the train and I stayed
with them. It was my first meeting with Mary, Greg, Bertha and Kathleen; I
had met Uncle Sandy and Aunt Dira before because they used his railway pass
to visit us in New Liskeard.
